Due to continued growth and investment across their engineering function, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead and develop their electrical engineering team.The business operates within a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment and has continued to invest heavily in product development, operational improvement, and engineering capability.The Role - Electrical Engineering ManagerThis is a senior leadership role within the engineering function, responsible for managing and supporting an established electrical engineering team across multiple engineering and product development projects.You will provide technical leadership, oversee project delivery activities, support engineering process improvements, and work closely with manufacturing and operational teams to ensure efficient product development and release activities.The role would suit an experienced Electrical Engineering professional with previous team leadership experience within a manufacturing, machinery, OEM, or industrial engineering environment.Key Responsibilities - Electrical Engineering ManagerLead and develop the electrical engineering teamSupport engineering project delivery from concept through to production releaseAllocate engineering resources across multiple concurrent projectsProvide technical guidance and decision-making support across engineering activitiesSupport product development and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure engineering documentation and design activities are completed to required standardsCollaborate closely with manufacturing, operations, and supply chain functionsSupport problem-solving and engineering improvement activities across productionDrive engineering process improvements and standardisation initiativesMonitor engineering performance, quality, and delivery objectivesEssential Criteria - Electrical Engineering ManagerDegree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related disciplineStrong electrical engineering design background within manufacturing or engineeringPrevious engineering leadership or management experienceExperience working within OEM, machinery, heavy equipment, or industrial engineering sectorsStrong understanding of engineering project delivery and product developmentFamiliar with engineering documentation and CAD systemsExcellent communication, organisational, and leadership skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making capabilityPlease Note: Sponsorship is not available for this role.
