Shift Pattern
The shift pattern for this role is as follows: 1 week of early Monday to Friday 0600-1500 and 1 week of late Monday to Friday 1400-2300.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that all equipment and services are maintained and operated in a safe condition to comply with Health & Safety.
* Carry out both planned maintenance schedule and reactive works as required on electrical services and equipment, including HVAC, motors, pumps and LV/HV electrical systems, and conduct periodic NICEIC.
* Record and keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
* Maintain a working knowledge of statutory regulations and ensure awareness of all safety procedures.
* Undertake electrical repairs and installations as appropriate and report any defects at time‑of‑service visit.
* Understand and complete all work‑related documentation accurately and on time.
Qualifications
* City and Guilds 236 and/or 232, Parts 1 & 2, NVQ Level 3 qualification.
* Knowledge of IEE 18th Edition Regulations.
* Knowledge of Test and Inspection 2391.
* Experience in dealing with LV and HV electrical maintenance work within the commercial services sector.
* Ability to undertake all facets of maintenance and installation requirements as required within the scope of the contract.
* Good knowledge of building statutory compliance.
Other Requirements
* Able to carry tools and equipment by hand up to 20 kg.
* Able to ascend/descend vertical access equipment and work at height.
* Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
* Must be available to join a call‑out rota (1 in 4).
* Must hold a full UK driving licence.
* HV Authorised Person training will be given to the right candidate.
* Thermal Imaging training may be given depending on business needs.
* Act as QS for the site after suitable site knowledge has been gained.
