Salary: £40,876 - £42,711 per annum (Deputy Head Grade 1 & 2)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week/52 weeks per year

Deputy Head - English, Maths & ESOL - The Role:

We are looking for a committed and driven Deputy Head to support the Head of Faculty in leading and developing our English, Maths & ESOL provision at our Salisbury campus. With a growing student body and a focus on inclusive, high-quality education, we need someone who can help shape the future of teaching and learning across these essential disciplines.
Deputy Head - English, Maths & ESOL- Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Head of Faculty in leading and managing the English, Maths & ESOL team to deliver excellent outcomes for learners.
* Leading curriculum development and quality assurance across English, Maths, and ESOL programmes.
* Coaching and guiding teaching staff to deliver outstanding lessons and achieve excellent student outcomes.
* Championing innovative teaching practices and inclusive learning environments.
* Playing a key role in student progress tracking, intervention strategies, and improvement planning.
Deputy Head - English, Maths & ESOL - You:
The ideal candidate will be:
* A qualified teacher with strong experience in further education or a related setting.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support diverse teams.
* A strong understanding of curriculum and assessment frameworks in English, Maths, and ESOL.
* A background in Mathematics is highly desirable, with the confidence to lead and develop the maths provision.
* A passion for education and a commitment to helping all learners achieve their potential.
Essential Qualifications:
* To hold a minimum level 3 qualification in an appropriate subject and/or significant experience in a relevant area.
* To be a qualified teacher with substantial teaching experience in an appropriate subject area.
