YOUR ROLE
The Content Producer manages the content production / origination of moving content discipline and related projects at Craft Manchester. You’ll be working in and out of house on production projects from inception to completion and are responsible for quality of product, on-time delivery, commercial and financial targets being met, as well as oversight/management of the end-to-end process, workflow.
The role is key in both content innovation as well as maximizing the agency’s ability to in-house content production effectively both locally in Manchester and across the rest of the Craft network. This role reports into the Head of Photography.
The role focusses on multiple clients who have a retail focus and will deliver fast turnaround pieces of content predominately for social media.
The role will be based across a couple of sites for Craft Manchester.
This position will start within the next two months and be offered as a long-term FTC, with possible future opportunities beyond this period.
Your Responsibilities
* Ensure that projects are delivered to the highest quality, on time and on budget
* Carry out everything you do with great attention to detail and high degree of organisation
* Have excellent production knowledge
Maintain strong local and international production connections staying abreast of changes and new talent in the industry
* Build strong working relationships internally and with production partners and clients, with a pleasant, proactive, firm but fair working manner
* Be assertive, to keep the client, production partners and internal teams motivated, no matter what unforeseen situation arises
* Have clear written and verbal communication skills
* Be proactive
* Have the initiative to proactively anticipate potential problems and formulate smart solutions
* Be flexible to adapt to changing business needs
* Have resilience to always keep the processes flowing
* Ensure all financials are kept up to date: estimates, POs, timesheets, invoices, billing
* Strong computer skills in Word and Excel
* Work closely with your team and other teams to help each individual succeed
YOU WILL WORK CLOSELY WITH
* All teams within Craft from Content to Client Services and Post-Production – to ensure appropriate hybrid resource sharing and support on integrated production projects
* Other content leads in other Craft studios or related stakeholders in charge of content production at agencies within the network.
Required Skills
* Experience of production with a content focus
* Strategic and creative thinker
* Knowledge of the retail sector
* Experience and planning projects within timescales and budget
* Experience from working in another short form content role, ideally within a production advertising agency
* Ability to jump on to last minute briefs and produce content quickly across all media
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS To Apply,
* Ability to work at a pace
* Not precious, wiling to roll up your sleeves and get things done
* Be flexible with timings to meet the clients’ requirements
* Solid level of Content Producing experience at another production or content agency across social media
* Candidates with retail experience would be preferred
* Able to start immediately on a long-term until mid 2027
* Full driving license and car, as there will be some travel between our sites in the area
