Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year Requirements: I am seeking candidates with a proven track record as an Infrastructure Engineer or Senior 3rd Line Engineer with hands-on project delivery experience. A strong technical background across Microsoft 365, Azure AD, VMware/Hyper-V, networking, backups, and security is essential. I expect you to have experience delivering migrations and infrastructure upgrades in a customer-facing or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. Knowledge of Intune, Autopilot, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is desirable. Strong communication skills are crucial, as you will need to confidently update stakeholders and produce project documentation. Responsibilities: As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will take ownership of projects from planning through to handover while also providing 3rd line support when required. Your duties will include delivering infrastructure projects, such as Azure IaaS migrations, VMware upgrades, Intune/Autopilot rollouts, Office 365 deployments, and telephony modernization. You will lead change initiatives, ensuring smooth delivery, proper documentation, and transition to Service Desk support. Supporting core systems such as Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, and networking (LAN/WAN/VPN/WiFi) will also be part of your role. Additionally, you'll produce clear project documentation, progress reports, and stakeholder updates while working closely with clients across the education and commercial sectors to build trusted relationships.
