The Role: Leading the Classroom
As a Cover Supervisor, you aren't just "filling in"—you are the leader of the room. Your mission includes:
* Classroom Leadership: Managing student behaviour and maintaining a positive, productive learning environment.
* Facilitating Lessons: Delivering pre-set lesson plans across various subjects. You don't need to be a subject expert—you just need to be a great communicator!
* Student Support: Helping students stay on task, encouraging their progress, and making a real impact on their day.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience: A background working with young people (coaching, youth work, tutoring, or volunteering).
* Presence: The confidence to command a room and the ability to build rapport with teenagers.
* Resilience: An adaptable "can-do" attitude and a calm head under pressure.
* Eligibility: A degree or A-Levels are preferred. You must hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
