Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (Primary) – Part-Time Supply Role
Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and looking for a flexible, rewarding role within education? A welcoming primary school in Bournemouth is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time, supply basis starting in September 2025.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and is seeking part-time hours to suit other commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils in Key Stage 2 with their academic, emotional and social development
* Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning support
* Assist pupils with SEN, ensuring they are engaged, included and progressing
* Help manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment
* Support one-to-one and small group interventions where needed
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with primary-aged children, especially in KS2
* An understanding or experience of supporting children with SEN
* A calm, encouraging, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* An Enhanced Child-Only DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
