We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee financial operations within the manufacturing sector. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures, effectively communicating financial results, and fostering a culture of accountability. Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the financial planning and budgeting process for the manufacturing division.
* Develop and maintain accurate financial reports that provide insights into manufacturing costs and profitability.
* Monitor and analyse production costs, efficiency metrics, and operational performance against budget.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies through regular auditing.
* Collaborate with various department heads to identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
* Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for manufacturing operations.
* Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
Requirements
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) desirable but not essential. Happy to consider QBE
* Proven management experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
* Proficient in financial software and ERP systems specific to manufacturing industries.
* Exceptional communication skills to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing finance teams.
