Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a background in either electrical or mechanical engineering? Our North Lanarkshire-based FMCG manufacturing site is looking for a proactive, hands-on engineer to support our fast-paced production environment. Purpose of the Role:
To carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the facility across a rotating Days & Backs shift pattern.
Are you who we’re looking for?
Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
Experience maintaining production machinery in a fast-moving manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with a solid understanding of either electrical or mechanical systems.
Familiarity with conveyors, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and packaging equipment is advantageous.
Comfortable working to strict Health & Safety and hygiene standards.
A team player with good communication skills, who can also work independently when required.
Proactive and solutions-focused, with a commitment to minimising downtime and improving equipment performance.
