Job summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare support worker to join our new expanded Enfield Overnight Community service.
The aim is to reduce unnecessary admissions of patients to A & E by supporting them with care in their own homes overnight and keeping patient safely in community.
The post holder will be an active member of the Overnight service, to provide support and undertake agreed nursing duties under the supervision of the Registered Nurses., Also able to work independently to deliver high standard of care to a multi- cultural and diverse population.
To demonstrate elements of leadership and team working skills and provide administrative and organisational support within the team.
Main duties of the job
To carry out clinical activities as delegated by a health care professional.All clinical work will be agreed, planned, and executed under the supervision of a qualified professional.
To ensure all contact with patients, families, carers is carried out with care, compassion & dignity.
To undertake clerical dutieswhen required and transcribe formal minutes and other meetings
