<div><h3>Position Overview</h3><p>Early Years Practitioner – Fixed term until 31/05/2027. Location: Fox Covert Primary School.</p><h3>Remuneration and Working Hours</h3><p>Salary: £30,188 – £34,452 (pro‑rated for part‑time and sessional). Hours: 36 per week, 39 weeks sessional.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide early years education and care in accordance with good practice, policies of the Council, Education Department and Care Inspectorate.</li><li>Work as an effective member of a multi‑disciplinary or other team to promote a stimulating learning environment that balances education and care for children and young people.</li><li>Meet children’s individual needs and those of their families, enabling everyone to achieve their potential.</li></ul><h3>Requirements and Checks</h3><ul><li>Regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.</li><li>Preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
