Brief Description
PE4 6NA We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
Qualifications Required
GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
Additional Requirements
* Applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications will be offered employment on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
* Candidate must be able to reach the pharmacy within 30 minutes; driving is required and should be indicated on your CV.
Training to be Provided
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
Key Duties
* Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries
* Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)
* Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records
* Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
* Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service

Compensation
£8 per hour
