Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
* Conduct regular patrols of the facility, both indoors and outdoors, to maintain a secure environment.
* Respond promptly and professionally to alarms and incidents, managing situations with calm and authority.
* Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems.
* Communicate effectively using a radio with other officers and confidently handle phone calls with management, contractors, clients, and the public.
* Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Requirements:
* Must hold a valid CCTV license.
* Must be local to Camberley or within a commutable distance.
* Strong communication skills, with confidence in using radios and handling phone communications.
* Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, and weekends.
* Available for 12:hour shifts: 7 am:7 pm and 7 pm:7 am.
* Ability to complete a 5:day training course successfully.
* Commitment to professionalism and maintaining a secure environment.
Shift Pattern:
* 5 Day shifts, 3 off, 4 Night shifts, 4 off.
