Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Bedford Main Dealer
1. Position: Vehicle Technician
2. Location: Bedford
3. Basic Salary: Up to £36,000 + Bonus - up to £40,000
4. Working Hours: Monday - Friday only
5. 8:30am - 5:30pm with some flexibility.
6. Option for 4 day working week (40 hours)
Our client; a highly reputable Main Dealer in Bedford, is searching for a dedicated professional to join their dynamic team.
This is a fantastic chance to work in a state-of-the-art Workshop, with a competitive salary, a great bonus structure, and the option of a 4-day working week.
Key Responsibilities:
7. Perform routine servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and general Vehicle Maintenance efficiently and to the highest standards.
8. Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify faults and recommend repairs, ensuring vehicles meet manufacturer and safety standards.
9. Liaise with customers to explain technical issues clearly, providing exceptional customer service and promoting trust in the dealership.
10. Adhere to all health and safety, MOT, and company regulations, keeping accurate records of all work carried out.
Requirements:
11. NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualifications.
12. At least 2 years proven experience working within a Dealership or Independent Garage environment.
13. Strong diagnostic skills and a passion for problem-solving.
14. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
15. Full UK Driving Licence.
