Equifind are excited to be partnering with a dynamic creative professional services firm in London, who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their growing finance function.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a part-qualified accountant who's ready to step into a role with real ownership and visibility - not just process-following. You'll work closely with the Head of Finance and senior stakeholders, playing a key role as the business continues to grow.
The Role
You'll take ownership of the day-to-day and month-end finance operations, ensuring accuracy across reporting and controls, and giving the wider business clear, reliable financial insight. You'll also get exposure to technology-driven initiatives including AI-enabled finance projects - great experience for a finance professional building their career.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ownership of the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, deferrals and balance sheet reconciliations
* Review and oversight of an outsourced finance team, ensuring quality, accuracy and timeliness
* Production and review of the P&L and balance sheet
* Oversight of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate billing and timely payments
* Proactively identifying issues and resolving them independently
* Contributing to process improvement and AI-enabled finance initiatives
About You:
* Part-qualified and actively studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA
* 3–5 years' hands-on experience in a finance role, ideally with exposure to management accounts and month-end
* Comfortable owning reconciliations, journals and P&L review
* A confident communicator who can hold their own with non-finance stakeholders
* Naturally proactive, curious and keen to improve how things work
* Experience in a creative, media or professional services environment is a bonus but not essential
