The Policy Officer plays a central role in helping the Policy Team deliver Care England’s strategic priorities across funding, workforce, regulation, integration and digital transformation. As part of a small and fast-paced team, the postholder supports a wide and exciting range of activities including policy development, consultation responses, research, parliamentary and government engagement, provider support, and stakeholder collaboration.
This is a multifaceted role suited to someone who is proactive, passionate, self-driven and able to operate both independently and collaboratively. The work is varied and fast moving: you may be drafting a national consultation response in the morning, conducting research or writing a report in the afternoon, and supporting a member meeting or external stakeholder discussion later that day.
