Job Details
We are looking for a Circular Economy Strategy Officer to lead the development and delivery of circular economy and waste prevention strategies across Fife.
This role focuses on reducing waste and improving resource efficiency through interventions including waste reduction, reuse, repair and recycling. You will provide expertise to the Council and external partners, supporting the transition to a more sustainable, circular economy.
The role will involve developing and implementing corporate strategies, policies and plans, alongside undertaking research, audits, performance reporting and project management to deliver measurable outcomes. This is not a policy role on the sidelines.
You will lead work that directly influences how a large, complex council reduces waste, improves recycling and responds to major national reforms such as EPR, DRS and Circular Economy legislation.
