Event Manager Events & Venue Management Sector Belfast Full time, permanent Competitive salary alongside generous pension contribution An established organisation within the events and venue management sector is seeking an experienced and proactive Event Manager to join its Operations team. This role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of a diverse range of events, ensuring exceptional client service and operational excellence. The role You will oversee the full life cycle of assigned events - from initial planning through to delivery and post-event evaluation. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, you will coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure each event runs smoothly, meets agreed objectives and reflects the organisations high standards. The role involves managing budgets, producing detailed event documentation, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to help drive efficiency, quality and continuous improvement across event delivery. Key responsibilities Lead the planning, organisation and delivery of events Serve as the main liaison for clients throughout the planning and contracted period Manage event budgets, forecasts, financial information and operational spend Coordinate operational services and contractors within agreed requirements Produce event summaries, briefings, risk assessments and event day reports Conduct site checks to ensure event spaces are presented to the highest standard Drive secondary revenue by promoting internal and external services Ensure compliance with all health & safety policies and procedures Manage on-site event operations, including emergency responses when required Essential criteria Proven experience in event management within a busy operational environment - 3 years A third-level qualification in event management would be desirable Confident communicator Strong project management and organisational skills Experience in risk management and decision-making under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office with experience producing professional written reports For further information about this position please contact Kelsey at Artemis Human Capital.
