Position: Coffee Sales Manager
Location: Field-based, covering Newcastle, Leeds & North East area
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday
Salary: £28k to £32k + Company vehicle + uncapped bonus potential

Purpose of Role:
An exciting opportunity within Matthew Algie for a Coffee Sales Manager in the Field Sales Team, covering Newcastle, Leeds & North East. You will identify new customer opportunities, develop existing accounts, and deliver excellent customer service and training. Your goal is to meet sales targets, profit, and business objectives by managing customer accounts and selling relevant products and services that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage your time to achieve at least 25 customer visits and 5 prospect visits per week
* Administer customer accounts
* Follow a structured sales process, including audits and understanding customer history
* Manage all customer interactions including business development, coffee quality, training, and sales support
* Identify opportunities to grow customer value through gap analysis
* Develop a prospect plan for current opportunities
* Utilize marketing support materials effectively
* Conduct regular coffee audits
* Maintain training records for all accounts
* Respond to customer issues within 24 hours
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar sales role with a proven track record of meeting targets is essential. A full UK driving license is also required.
Skills / Knowledge:
Educated to A level or equivalent, proficient in Microsoft Office, with high numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail.
