Job Summary

Main Duties
* Contribute to the safe, effective and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical care within the Trust.
* Gain hands‑on experience across the pharmacy department, carrying out a wide range of duties under the supervision of qualified staff.
* Participate in ward‑based and dispensary‑based activities, developing skills in medicines optimisation and safe supply processes.
* Work closely with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Rotate across Trust sites to broaden knowledge and professional experience.
* Undertake allocated and independent study to reinforce professional development.
* Ensure timely and successful completion of all training elements.
* Demonstrate commitment to personal and professional development, reflecting on practice and seeking feedback.
* Actively engage in team meetings, training and supervision sessions to support learning.
* Work in line with departmental policies, professional standards and relevant legislation.
* Present yourself professionally at all times, maintaining high standards of conduct and appearance.
* Commit fully to the Learning Agreement and adhere to its requirements throughout the programme.

Qualifications
* Five GCSEs in Maths, English and Science, at Grade 4‑9 (A‑C or equivalent).
Skills

Experience

Knowledge
* Understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician within a pharmacy team.
Eligibility and Sponsorship
UK residency for a minimum of 3 years is required (refugee status exempt). Right to work for the full apprenticeship period is mandatory. We do not offer sponsorship for this role.
