Role Overview
We are seeking a Nurse Specialist for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) outpatient team in West Lothian, located at St. John’s Hospital, Livingston.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessment and treatment of a range of mental health presentations including eating disorders, mood and psychotic disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
* Provide nursing care within the CAMHS setting, supporting patients and families to achieve recovery and wellbeing.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
* Complete the NES “New to CAMHS” training over a 12‑month period and engage in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Training
Qualified registered mental health or learning disability nurse.
Experience or interest in child and adolescent mental health settings is preferred.

* Salary: £43,231 – £52,679 per annum (pro‑rata for part‑time).
* Hours: 36 hours per week (part‑time considered).
