Location: Coventry, England, United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the safety and welfare of children is at the heart of all assessments and interventions.
* Observe, supervise, record, and assess family interactions, child behaviour, and parental capacity.
* Deliver a respectful and strength‑based service, valuing each family’s experiences and background.
* Work closely with managers and other professionals to support family progress and ensure high‑quality practice.
* Challenge and teach parenting practices sensitively and appropriately.
* Participate in team meetings, training, and professional supervision.
* Maintain accurate, timely records in line with organisational standards.
* Support with general childcare duties and day‑to‑day centre operations.
Requirements
* Minimum 6 months experience in the UK in a relevant setting (social care, SEN, NHS, teaching assistant, or care home).
* Strong communication, observation, and report‑writing skills.
* Compassionate, patient, and committed to promoting positive outcomes for children and families.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
* A driving licence is not essential.
Shift Pattern
* 4‑week rolling rota, working a mix of:
o 7:30 am – 3:00 pm
o 2:30 pm – 10:00 pm
