Overview
We are seeking a Sous Chef to work alongside the Head Chef in a busy kitchen, creating exciting and delicious dishes for guests. The ideal candidate has experience in a similar environment, strong culinary skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and service.
Responsibilities
* Put knife skills to the test by cooking with the finest ingredients.
* Keep up to date with the latest allergen training and writing the allergen matrix with the Head Chef.
* Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and enforce cleaning responsibilities among all staff.
* Label food accurately and keep track of stock to avoid spoilage.
* Share knowledge with junior staff, including Junior Sous, CDP’s, KP’s, and Commis.
* Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
* Ensure timely ordering of supplies via Procure Wizard.
