Electrical Contracts/Project Manager Location: Kent – London – Essex (Hybrid Role) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience) Quarterly Bonuses About the Role We are looking for an experienced Electrical Contracts/Project Manager to join our dynamic team! This is an exciting hybrid role, perfect for someone with a strong electrical background who is ready to take ownership of smaller projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities * Project Quoting & Acquisition: Leverage your expertise to assess, quote, and win the right projects. * End-to-End Project Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful execution from initiation to completion. * Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations and industry standards. * Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service quality. Your time will be split between Project managing the works won as contracts manager, ensuring a smooth handover from winning the job, to job completion. You will be the main point of contact for engineers and be available to answer any technical questions when required. Your responsibilities will include: • To be a QS for the NICEIC Registration & Complete Annual Assessments • To quote & win works • To ensure projects run smoothly, and within budget • To assist with all certification & QS Certificates • To assist with ongoing training & development with Staff • To assist with Testing Procedures • Complete calibration of testing equipment • Assist with Health & Safety Procedures and ensuring compliance • To assist with site procedures, and ensure staff follow correct procedures Key Essential Requirements: • Full UK Driving License • 18th Edition of BS7671 • Competent in Testing & Inspection • Level 3 NVQ • Must have own tools • Minimum 7 years’ experience as an Electrician/Electrical Supervisor Preferred Requirements: • ECS Card • SMSTS • Level 4 Award in Design and verification of Electrical Installations • Experience of being a QS (Qualified Supervisor) Could be benefit • Inspection & Testing 2391 qualification or equivalent • Project Management Experience Benefit Package • Company Pension scheme • Quarterly Target & Performance Based Bonus • 21 Days holiday plus bank holidays • 1 Additional Days holiday awarded for each year served, capped at 5 • Training and Upskilling provided • Vehicle & Fuel Card provided • Employee Assistance Programme • Employee Excellence Award What We’re Looking For * A strong electrical background with experience managing projects. * Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth project execution. * Knowledge of electrical compliance and safety regulations. * Strong communication and leadership abilities to work collaboratively with teams and clients. * A proactive and hands-on approach to project management.
