Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced commercially focused manager to lead our sales support department and support the wider sales team across new machines and service within the UK division of Pure Flow Processing. The role will support all elements of the sales process from tender submissions to contract negotiation.
Key responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
1. Line management of the Sales Support Manager and Sales Support Co‑ordinator
2. Day‑to‑day coordination, prioritisation, and workload planning for the sales support functions in loading customer orders, order confirmations and customer invoices
3. Oversee raising of supplier purchase orders and processing of supplier invoices
4. Clear communication of priorities and status to internal stakeholders
5. Act as the escalation point for commercial, sales administration, and customer issues
Commercial & Contract Management
6. Support and lead contract negotiations in line with governance procedures for all areas of the business
7. Review, negotiate, and gain legal approval for all Non‑Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
8. Pre‑qualification, review, and compliance checking of contracts and orders
9. Engage Legal where required for contractual guidance and risk management
Orders, Tenders & Compliance
10. Support tender submissions from a commercial perspective
11. Review all incoming customer orders and flag compliance or commercial risks
12. Submit e-Approvals, TIP applications, and compliance approvals.
13. Complete customer questionnaires (Commercial, Financial, QSHE, etc.)
Financial & Forecasting Support
14. Review customer credit status and advise on payment milestones and terms
15. Support sales and order forecasting (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
16. Support in maintaining a rolling 12‑month invoice forecast for projects and rentals
17. Support Finance with audits and assist Credit Control with debt resolution
Your Profile / Qualifications
18. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field
19. Background in Commercial and contractual negotiation
20. Experience of bid and tender management
21. Understanding of financial principals and risk management
22. Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing successful commercial support function
23. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex data and financial trends to inform strategic decisions.
24. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
25. IT skills: Use of SAP, CRM & MS (Excel & word).
