Zest is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a SEND school in Erdington on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced teaching staff to support students with a variety of learning difficulties. The ideal Teaching Assistant will have experience in a similar role previously role previously or possess transferrable qualities from their previous work. Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant: * Providing 1:1 support to students with learning difficulties, ensuring their individual needs are met * Assisting the class teacher in implementing tailored learning activities and interventions to support students’ progress * Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment * Collaborating with colleagues and external professionals to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies * Promoting independence and social skills development among students, encouraging them to reach their full potential If you are interested in this position or want to find out more contact Chris at Zest Education or ‘apply for job’ at the top of the page to submit your details.
