Generative artificial intelligence (AI) describes algorithms that can be used to produce new content, including audio, code, images, text, simulations, and videos. It is developing all the time and is now being used as a support mechanism for all kinds of content-based creations. As a Division we are excited to be able to offer someone this brand new role of 'Patient Safety and Experience Admin Co-ordinator' to work within Specialised Services. The successful candidate will work alongside the Quality and Patient Safety Manager and Divisional Patient Experience Co-ordinator.

Day to day tasks would include; allocation and management of incidents and complaints, acting as a point of call for clinical and non-clinical queries, organising and planning of meetings and liaising via telephone or email with patients and relatives with a caring and professional approach and with a kind and empathetic manner.

This role is permanent, and we are able to offer 27hours a week covering a Mondays to Friday period (daily hours and specific days to be agreed) flexible working would be considered.

As Patient Safety and Experience Co-ordinator for the Division you will co-ordinate and support with all aspects of patient safety, incident management and complaints. The post holder will work in a small but dynamic team in a varied and fast paced environment.

The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive, professional and effective co-ordinator/administrative support across the division which includes the Bristol Heart Institute and the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre.

The post holder will be an integral member of the team and will be expected to be proactive and take initiative individually, and as part of a team. Key working relationships will include Senior Managers, Quality and Patient Safety Leads, the PALS and complaints team and other members of the divisional multidisciplinary team.
