Revenue Accountant
Location: Windsor, UK
We are seeking a skilled Revenue or Senior Accountant to join our clients International Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key role in ensuring accurate revenue recognition and financial reporting in a dynamic, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with US GAAP (ASC 606) standards.
* Maintain comprehensive working papers supporting revenue calculations across the International region.
* Review and analyse complex revenue contracts, applying the correct recognition models.
* Work closely with local controllers and implementation teams to update work-in-progress schedules.
* Support month-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
* Collaborate with the Customer Operations and General Accounting teams to analyze variances, forecast revenue, and identify key trends.
* Prepare detailed analytics and segmental reporting for financial statements.
* Assist in external audits (statutory and tax where necessary) by gathering and presenting required documentation.
* Continuously review and improve financial systems and procedures, making recommendations to enhance efficiency.
* Respond to ad hoc management requests and provide insights for decision-making.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years experience in a multinational environment.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition for software contracts.
Experience working with multi-currency systems in a global setting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
