About the Role
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) will oversee a portfolio of construction projects throughout their lifecycle. The role includes PM line reporting responsibilities, providing leadership, and interacting closely with various teams including construction, SHEQ, commercial, and sales. The SPM will be accountable for SHEQ, programme, and commercial status across their portfolio, participate in project governance, and lead the expansion strategy to grow the team across the UK/EU.
Responsibilities
* Define and execute delivery strategy and roadmap
* Manage programme and commercial aspects of assigned projects
* Report on project progress and performance
* Ensure compliance with construction governance
* Coordinate with pre-construction and commercial teams for project mobilization and execution
* Support internal frameworks and ensure project cycle support
* Prioritize health, safety, and environmental issues, driving continuous improvement
* Meet SHEQ auditing targets
* Support platform business initiatives
* Stay updated on industry best practices and educate teams and clients
* Ensure projects are live within Sitetracker
* Conduct project reviews with stakeholders
Leadership
* Inspire and engage team members, fostering a positive work environment
* Motivate and guide teams towards EO’s goals
* Collaborate with leadership to align organizational objectives
* Build strong internal relationships and ensure delivery aligns with expectations
* Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethics
Requirements
* Experience in a similar senior project management role or complex project management within utilities or electrical construction
* Relevant project management or technical qualifications
* Understanding of large-scale EV adoption ecosystems
* Experience in programme management within a delivery business
* Leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Ability to work within governance frameworks
* Strong commercial awareness and experience in infrastructure project delivery
* Proven leadership in subcontractor management
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and risk management
* Track record of meeting targets while maintaining excellent customer relations
