Are you an engaging individual who is known for their exceptional organisational skills, with a love for delivering first class business and facilities support? We have just the role for you as a Facilities & Support Services Co-ordinator at Antony House.
Salary: £17,415.45 pro rata (FTE £26,793 per annum)
Contract: Permanent
Hours/working pattern: 1267.5 hours per year. Antony is only open from April to October, however this role will work throughout the year with occasional weekend working.
This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.
Working location: This role is based at Antony House, located in Torpoint, Cornwall. Due to it’s location, it’s likely you will need your own transport to get there.

What you'll be doing
The National Trust is a busy organisation that has a lot going on at all times - you can guarantee that no day is the same, so you’ll have to love variety. As Facilities & Support Services Co-ordinator you’ll be supporting day to day operations and offer your advice beyond your team. You’ll always champion best practice and will be confident challenging the norm when you think there’s a better way of doing something.
You’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of an efficient, effective, and flexible facilities service, to enable the successful operation of the property. You’ll support the team to meet its objectives by ensuring high standards are always delivered and maintained whilst following procedures and conservation guidelines.
You will be responsible for the administration of the regular building tasks and compliance work, co-ordinating contractors and facilitating access, and making sure the overall presentation of the property is always at its best.
As a small team is based at Antony, it’s likely at times you’ll be asked to support other areas of the property – for example being the Duty Manager when the Site Manager is on leave.
Who we're looking for

• You should have worked in a customer-facing or operational support role, ideally within a visitor attraction or property management setting.
• Understanding safety legislation and being able to carry out risk assessments is essential for maintaining a safe environment.
• You’ll need to be confident using Microsoft Office and digital platforms to manage records, communications, and marketing tasks.
• The role involves working closely with colleagues and volunteers, so being a collaborative team player is key.
• You must be adaptable and committed to delivering high standards of service across public areas and facilities.
Additional criteria for all other applicants. We’d love to hear from you if you’re:
1. Experience in a facilities or business support role in a customer service environment. NVQ level 2 qualification, IWFM Associate Level 3 certificate or equivalent.
2. Flexible, customer focussed approach with understanding of good customer service standards.
3. Numerate with basic financial skills.
4. Knowledge of health and safety, fire and security procedures and legislation, emergency procedures, diversity and equality procedures.
5. Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
6. Good written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to multi-task and work in collaboration with other departments.
Advanced IT Skills (Microsoft office). Experience of records management and information systems. Experience in using computerised asset management system
