KS2 Teacher (Maternity Cover) - Year 4

A wonderful and welcoming primary school in the heart of Stalybridge is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team for a full-time maternity cover starting September. Year 4 Teacher
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have strong subject knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, direct experience in Year 4 would be beneficial.
Be confident in planning detailed, purposeful and engaging lessons in line with Year 4 National Curriculum standards.
Demonstrate skill in adaptive teaching methods, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged including SEND and pupils on EHCPs
Use a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to inform teaching, drive progress and plan for intervention
Employ effective questioning techniques that promote critical thinking, reasoning, and curiosity.
Incorporate ICT effectively into lessons, including the use of interactive whiteboards, iPads, and Chromebooks.
Be a team player, able to communicate well with TAs and classroom staff, and confidently delegate tasks to maximise outcomes.
Be willing to immerse themselves in all aspects of school life, including curriculum and parents' evenings, and school events such as the Christmas and Summer Fairs.
