CNC Press Brake Setter / Operator Bishop's Stortford area, Hertfordshire Full-Time | Permanent | Immediate Start Available £35,100 - £39,780 per year (£15.00 - £17.00 per hour, depending on experience) Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (45 hours per week) About the Role Long-established manufacturer and installer of building envelope solutions, currently seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Setter / Operator to join their Sheet Metal department. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication, particularly in setting and operating CNC Press Brake machinery. Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC Press Brake Machines to produce sheet metal components. Read and interpret technical drawings accurately. Perform quality checks and make necessary adjustments. Operate additional machinery (Punch Press, Guillotine, Piercing machines). Use hand tools for finishing and assembly. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Complete job-related paperwork and follow safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience operating and setting CNC Press Brake Machines. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. High attention to detail and quality. Ability to work independently and solve problems. Experience with other sheet metal machinery is a plus.
