Store Manager Glasgow Possilpark
40 hours per week
What you’ll do
Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.
We’re not just interested in what you can bring to us today; we’re also interested in developing your talents so you can grow with our business and become one of our leaders of tomorrow.
Delivering an outstanding customer proposition. This isn’t your average retail role; it’s much more than an average Store Manager job. You’ll manage the branch, serve customers, check deliveries, pick items from the warehouse and stock shelves. It can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. If you take real pride in leading and motivating a team to achieve great things, customers will notice and love us more.
Day-to-day
* Deliver great service: ensure your team provides a great customer experience and delivers sales through service.
* Muck in: help the team get the job done, check and unpack deliveries, open and close the branch, stock shelves, clean the branch, and put orders together.
* Inspire: encourage a positive mindset, build a culture of feedback, praise and recognition.
* Ask questions and build relationships: ensure your team receives the development they need, support future business growth and succession, and make sure customers leave the branch with everything they need.
* Lead: from the front, coach, motivate and engage your team, creating a great place to work where engagement is key.
* Build a fun working environment: maintain great product availability and high branch standards, while ensuring the branch is a place everyone loves coming to work.
