Course Tutor for Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling
We are seeking a Counselling Tutor for the Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling to support and guide students throughout their two-year taught element of their training. Key responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging and accessible curriculum content, collaborating with colleagues, using online and IT tools, and creating interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles.
The successful candidate will build strong, supportive relationships with students, effectively manage both in-person and online teaching (OPT) modalities, and facilitate group dynamics with empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity. Additional duties include assessing student work, providing constructive and inclusive feedback, organising tutorials, and maintaining accurate records, all while prioritising the principles of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in every aspect of teaching and interaction.

Job Description: Tutor – Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling
Position Title: Tutor – Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling (BACP and NCPS Accredited Course)
Location: Exeter
Hours: Teaching takes place on Thursdays during term time, commencing 5th June, from 10am to 5.15 pm. The days are attached in the downloads sections.
All academic staff members’ contracts include:
* 5 days Attendance at Staff Teaching Development days.
* Two full Staff meetings.
* Recruitment events such as Evenings, Open Days, and online course presentations.
* Student Admission Interviews.
* Planning, teaching preparation, assignment marking, and feedback.
* Any other necessary course requirements.
Contract Duration: 2-year fixed-term contract (with the possibility of extension).
Salary: £28,987 - £36,677 pro rata depending on qualifications and experience. This equates to 52 working days per annum, most of which will be worked over the course of the academic year. Annual leave is included in your salary (pro-rata) FTE.
