Job Description
As a Technical Product Lead, you’re here to expand the potential of our digital business, supporting the delivery of the product vision and strategic roadmap as we move to a MACH architecture. Joining the business at a time of significant growth and investment in Digital, the opportunity to be part of this digital transformation is huge.
Working as a member of the Digital Product Management Team you will be responsible for the data, services and integration platform. You will lead a team of Product Owners working across our core domain areas, creating a frictionless environment to deliver best in class digital solutions.
You will also partner and act as advisory support to other product workstreams to ensure that all products are aligned to meet customer and business outcomes.
This is an evolving product area that you will be able to mould and shape to deliver maximum value.
Job Responsibilities
1. Build and lead a team of Product Owners across our data and enablement platform to drive outstanding customer experiences
2. Define the strategic vision for your team and create the product roadmap
3. Manage POs to define epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring that customer, business and technology needs are understood.
4. Ensure that application integration requirements from the business users and data owners are met
5. Define MVPs, manage product lifecycle and evolve ways of working in an agile environment
6. Work closely with Product, UX, Engineering and Delivery teams to align on orchestration, dependencies, and risk management
7. Establish success metrics and ensure that the team are aligned through OKRs
8. Consistently apply Product best practice and acts as an advocate of the Product discipline
Qualifications
9. Relevant experience as a Technical Product Owner, shipping complex technology products within a MACH architecture
10. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to communicate product strategy to the team and steer alignment across wider product domains
11. In depth knowledge of agile process and principles
12. Understanding of modern API technologies and integrations ecosystem
13. Solid understanding of engineering principles and developer workflow for delivering API solutions
14. Pro-active self-starter, task focused and organised
15. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics or Computer Science
