SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students Deliver engaging lessons and activities to enhance students' academic and social development Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: Relevant qualification in Special Education or related field Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions Education: Degree in Special Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN regulations and best practises Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in SEN support Experience working in a variety of educational settings Working Conditions: The role involves working with students in educational settings, collaborating with professionals and parents, and adapting to the individual needs of students with SEN.
