Our client, a major player in the Mediterranean drinks industry, is introducing a healthy, naturally flavoured sparkling mineral water brand to the UK. We are on the hunt for a driven UK Business Development Manager to pioneer our client's growth in the off trade drinks sector.
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate is a hungry team player who is equally comfortable taking the initiative and working independently to drive business growth. Responsibilities:
* Craft and implement a strategic plan to penetrate and grow the off-trade drinks market.
* Forge and nurture strong relationships with key retail partners, ensuring high satisfaction and loyalty.
* Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, leveraging and expanding upon existing industry contacts.
* Consistently achieve and surpass sales targets, contributing directly to the company's rapid growth.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to create and adapt sales strategies for the UK market.
* Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor movements to inform strategic decisions.
* Use CRM software to monitor leads, manage customer data, and produce insightful reports.
Qualifications:
* A solid background in the off-trade drinks sector, with at least two years in a business development or related role.
* A proven self-starter with a verifiable history of opening new accounts and driving business expansion.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for negotiation and deal closure.
* Self-motivated with a robust drive to achieve sales targets.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ownership of a car and a valid driver's license are essential.
