We have an amazing opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser to join the Lucy & Yak Product Team!
As a Junior Merchandiser, you will ensure the right products are available in the right places, in the right quantities, at the right time. You'll work closely with the Buying team to plan stock levels, manage orders, and optimise sales both in-store and online.
Supporting the Senior Merchandiser, you'll be responsible for intake and focusing on sales performance across our online channel and stores.
What you'll be doing...
1. Working closely with Buying and Design to develop product ranges that align with brand vision, target markets, and sales objectives.
2. Reviewing historical and current sales data to forecast future stock needs.
3. Supporting the Senior Merchandiser with creating initial range plans.
4. Supporting in WSSI management, reviewing consistently in line with trade performance.
5. Proactively managing stock levels, allocating and replenishing stock to stores and e-commerce.
6. Coordinating product transfers, stock locations, and handling adjustments.
7. Creating and maintaining the store stock strategy.
8. Analyzing and monitoring best and worst sellers, making informed recommendations and actions weekly.
9. Contributing to visual merchandising strategies to maximise sales.
10. Preparing trade reports to drive clear weekly trade actions.
11. Developing strong working relationships across the wider business, including digital teams, external suppliers, and stores.

1. Working closely with Buying on the critical path process to ensure stock arrives on time and in full.
2. Managing price changes.
3. Meeting with supplier partners to ensure timely deliveries.
4. Negotiating delivery schedules for bulk goods where applicable.
What you need...
1. Proven experience working within a merchandising team at the assistant or junior level in a fast-growing business.
2. Experience in store merchandising.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Comfortable presenting and communicating with senior management.
5. Excellent organisational and planning skills.
6. Strong cross-functional experience and ability to work collaboratively.
7. Uses initiative to solve problems.
The details
1. Salary: £32-£36k per annum, based on experience.
2. Location: Brighton Office.
3. Permanent role.
4. 30 hours/4 days per week with full-time salary.
