What you'll do
Do you like working with children. We have a young girl who’s parents are seeking a compassionate, reliable female carer to join their team in supporting their beautiful 12-year-old daughter with complex medical needs.
This is a specialist role requiring attention to detail, and the right people to ensure this young girls safety, comfort and quality of life. She is home schooled, enjoys activities as part of her day, and getting outside when the weather allows. Alongside her clinical care we want carers who can help her enjoy life.
The role includes:
* PEG feeding
* Administration of prescribed medications
* Seizure management
* 24/7 ventilation support
* Suctioning and chest physiotherapy
* Hoisting and full personal care
* Supporting her learning, play and daily activities
Training and support:
* You will work closely with the family and existing carers to receive full training in all clinical needs within the home
* Support from the branch team and healthcare professionals will be ongoing
* This is a highly responsible role for which reliability and compassion are essential.
Qualifications
What you’ll need
You will not require complex care experience for this role. Just plenty of care, compassion, and resilience as we provide full nurse-led training.
