Graduate Mechanical Engineer. We are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Network team and help support our water team on a project in Luton, Bedfordshire.

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire but with flexibility to travel across the region.
Starting Salary: £30,000 per annum with possible car allowance of £4,750 depending on eligibility.
Pathway: Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA £38k.
Starting date: September 2026.

What will you be responsible for?
As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will assist in the design, development and implementation of mechanical systems for various projects.
Your day to day will include:
* Assisting in the design and development of mechanical systems for projects.
* Supporting the preparation of detailed drawings, specifications and reports.
* Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards and quality requirements.
* Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers and contractors to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
* Assisting in the preparation of technical reports, documentation and project updates.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for graduates in 2025, or those who have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
