Job Description
We’re working with an innovative clean energy company developing hydrogen fuel cells, hydrogen generation systems, and integrated power solutions.
They’re scaling their engineering team and need a Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer to help drive both existing system support and new product development.
This is a role for someone who wants to be close to the tech.
You’ll be working across:
* Fuel cell systems
* Hydrogen generation
* Integrated power platforms
* Real-world deployed equipment
What you’ll be doing
* Leading electrical & controls delivery across projects and new product development
* Defining system architectures and making key design decisions
* Designing electrical systems from concept through to detailed schematics
* Supporting build, integration, and system verification
* Fault finding, testing, and improving live systems
* Producing documentation for compliance, validation, and manufacture
* Supporting safety activities (HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, C&E)
* Mentoring junior engineers
Tech / environment
* Industrial electrical systems & control panels
* EN 60204, BS7671 (18th Edition)
* Functional safety (EN 61511)
* Siemens PLCs
* Cross-functional engineering teams (systems, product, production)
What they need
* Strong electrical design background in industrial / machinery environments
* Experience across design & hands-on testing / fault finding
* Comfortable owning work end-to-end
* Ability to operate in a fast-moving, engineering-led environment
You’ll be involved in designing, building, testing, and delivering real systems in one of the most active areas of clean energy.
