About The Role:
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 9am until 5:30pm
The successful candidate will possess an innovative ‘can-do’ attitude, with a high level of attention to detail, enabling the preparation of high quality, data driven insight analysis, reporting and commentary to support Finance and the wider Operations Function. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will have exposure in various projects around pricing and margins along with becoming an integral part of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing a good understanding of the activities of the Group and develop a strong working relationship with managers across the various businesses, to provide financial and numerical analysis on a variety of subjects
* Developing a process to monitor performance across the group to identify areas requiring investigation and further analysis and communicating issues and conclusions effectively.
* Understand and report on variances, identify risks and opportunities against the current budget and develop a process to track committed project benefits, ensuring they are captured in plans and forecasts.
* Prepare, collate, and distribute monthly senior management reporting packs.
* Providing financial and analytical support to support management decisions.
* Provide general support and ad-hoc analysis as required by Management.
Key Skills:
* Knowledge of accounting processes and software
* Minimum Level 4 AAT or above
* Experience in data, operational and financial analysis
* Strong analytical skills
* Great attention to detail
* Good communication aptitude
* Experience using power BI is preferred however not essential
* Takes responsibility for own tasks and completes to a high standard.
* Able to manage own workload and prioritise workloads to important deadlines
* Ability to use large data sets and disaggregate information.
* Good Excel & Word skills
