This leading retailer is looking for a Senior Non-Food Buyer to manage a key category, driving NPD and creating a compelling product range. This is initially a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
Responsibilities include:
1. Working closely with Merchandising, Design, and Quality teams to explore new product categories and enhance current ranges.
2. Managing day-to-day range development, including sample development and selection.
3. Conducting sales analysis using market and customer insights to inform buying decisions.
4. Sourcing, developing, and expanding the product range.
5. Defining pricing and promotional strategies for the category.
6. Achieving commercial targets to maximize revenue and margin.
7. Traveling within the UK and EU for trade shows, competitor shopping, and supplier visits.
8. Collaborating with the e-commerce team on content and photography.
