Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in large-scale civil engineering projects?
My client are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-performingmercial team in a fast-paced, high-impact framework. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a major, long-term frameworks spanning 5–8 years, focused on delivering vital projects that make a real difference tomunities and the environment.
Your new role:
In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing multiple civil engineering projects from amercial perspective. You’ll bring a strongmand of NEC contracts and thrive in a fast-moving, multi-stakeholder environment. From cost planning and subcontractor management to change control and valuations, your focus will be on delivering financially sound,pliant oues. You’ll collaborate closely with project teams, the client, and the supply chain—ensuring allmercial activities are aligned with the objectives of framework delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Managing valuations, cost tracking, andmercial reporting across live projects
2. Leading subcontractor procurement and ensuring contractualpliance
3. Handlingpensation events, change management, and contract administration
4. Supporting dispute resolution and risk management to maximise project profitability
5. Advising delivery teams on contract procedures andmercial best practice
6. Supporting tender pricing and estimates, where required
What you'll need to succeed:
7. Proven experience in civil engineering
8. Strong understanding of NEC contract forms
9. Excellentmunication and stakeholder management skills
10. Proactive, organised, andmercially focused approach
11. Confidence in managing multiple projects simultaneously
