A well-established global organisation is looking to add a confident and capable Global Accounts Payable Clerk to its finance team. What you'll be doing:
You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the global Accounts Payable function, working closely with colleagues across finance, procurement, and operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Processing purchase invoices and employee expenses in line with internal controls
Managing supplier payment runs and ensuring timely payments across global accounts
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies with internal teams
Assisting with monthly journals, reconciliations, and VAT reporting
Supporting cash management and ad hoc finance tasks
Contributing to the annual audit process and supporting wider finance improvement initiatives
Identifying opportunities for process efficiencies and automation
What you'll bring:
Solid experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within a fast-paced, international business
AAT qualified or working towards qualification (desirable)
Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced); confident with Microsoft Office
Experience with accounting software such as Dynamics 365 or Medius (desirable)
Sound understanding of general ledger functions and month-/year-end processes
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism
Excellent communication skills – comfortable dealing with stakeholders across multiple global regions
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider finance team
