Responsibilities
* Engage with young people through various activities, including educational programmes, sports, and arts and crafts.
* Provide mentorship and support to help youth develop essential life skills.
* Assist in the planning and delivery of workshops and group sessions tailored to the needs of the participants.
* Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all individuals.
* Monitor the progress of each youth participant, providing feedback and reporting on their development.
* Collaborate with parents, schools, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each young person.
* Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and progress reports as required by organisational policies.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children or young people in a mentoring or educational capacity is essential.
* A background in teaching or special education is highly desirable.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with young people from diverse backgrounds.
* Knowledge of youth work principles and practices is beneficial.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
