The School of Life Sciences (SoLS), University of Nottingham seeks to make a permanent teaching and curriculum leadership appointment of an Associate Professor in Biomedical Sciences.
We are looking for an outstanding educator and scientist, with an ambitious vision, who is passionate about teaching and has a collegial attitude. Your teaching will encompass a range of areas within human physiology, nutrition, anatomy and pathology or data analysis and bioinformatics and will be delivered to students at all levels on the Biomedical Sciences degrees (BSc and MSci) and other related degrees.
You will have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant biomedical sciences subject area and a successful track record of excellence in undergraduate and/or graduate teaching. You will have experience of curriculum leadership with management of others' activity in Higher Education. You will have a commitment to high-quality, innovative, and inclusive teaching, underpinned by engagement with pedagogical scholarship and reflected in a consistent and growing national reputation.
