This is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven, enthusiastic Structural Engineer who is keen to work on a wide variety of mezzanine projects and provide technical support across our business.
Hi-Level Mezzanine are a leader in designing, supplying and installing mezzanine floors and associated fitout works. We have been operating for over 30 years with projects ranging from single storey floors through to large, complex multi-tiered installations in the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities:
Working closely with both our Drawing Office and Contracts Team you will be responsible for:
* Providing designs for all mezzanine projects including dealing with any design amendments, drawings and calculations as needed.
* Ensuring delivery of drawing work to meet agreed project programmes.
* Ensuring delivery of drawing work to meet project budget targets.
* Providing technical support to the Project Managers and Drawing Office Team.
* Developing concept ideas into drawings to assist the Sales and Estimating Teams with quotations for potential new projects.
* Effective planning of time and tasks to ensure all deadlines and targets are achieved.
* Reporting to Directors on deadlines and targets as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
* Knowledge of all common building materials and details.
* Experience using relevant industry software systems. Eg. MasterSeries & Eurobeam
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to effectively manage workloads to meet all deadlines and targets.
* Ability to build good relationships with multiple teams across the business.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
* A degree or diploma in Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Salary: £30, £35,000.00 per year – salary depending on experience.
This role will be based at our office in Petersfield .
