The successful postholder will bring drive and enthusiasm to this leadership role within the HR operational team and champion a quality HR service which supports the purpose, priorities and objectives of the Trust and to provide strategic HR support to designated Directorates.
The postholder should adopt a strategic partnership approach, to fully understand the business and to support the directorates in developing the people capability to deliver their business plan, provide a quality service delivery and improve patient experience.
Main duties of the job
To champion best practice HR management, influencing decision to ensure effective management of staff through the fair, efficient and pragmatic application of best practice.
To deliver a high quality strategic and operational service which focuses on the priorities and objectives of the directorates which requires expertise on a broad range of HR issues including recruitment & retention, employee relations, staff performance and capability, sickness absence management, terms and conditions of service, redeployment and redundancy.
Lead the designated HR Business Partners and Advisers to provide a comprehensive and high quality HR service to designated directorates which contribute to the achievement of strategic goals and priorities.
Develop robust relationships with directorates and corporate areas to influence, challenge and support service delivery and people strategies and to monitor success.
