The Role
The Area Business Manager role at Royal Canin is critical to ensure we reach more Partners (breeders and rescue) to increase recommendation and drive retention. It is a field‑based role covering part of Northern England, responsible for the relationship with our breeders and rescue partners.
Recommendation of Royal Canin products to new puppy/kitten and dog/cat owners is the number one priority in line with our Value Partnerships strategy; by serving more pets you will help transform our business growth. The role is also responsible for the sales value and volume of an extended portfolio including PRO bespoke products and a range of Pet Speciality Retail SKUs.
Critical to building relationships within the pet professionals, the role leverages a consultative selling approach and co‑creates solutions to increase their nutritional knowledge and usage. This also supports their recommendation and professional digitalization, generating mutual benefits and health‑through‑nutrition outcomes.
The Area Business Manager will attend a number of dog and cat shows throughout the year, some over the weekend, working on our show unit with other members of the PRO team.
